 ​Strummerfest, first and foremost, is about doing something good for others.  Not only exemplary manners, but exemplary concern and exemplary compassion. Supporting Strummerfest is remembering Joe Strummer, yes, and it is supporting local music, yes, but even more  importantly it's supporting the efforts of truly charitable people who  serve others in our communities.  Strummerfest primarily supports the work of Your Life Counts,  the Waterloo Region Suicide Prevention Council and House of Friendship.  We have also provided support in the past to The Joe Strummer Foundation and are open to supporting other charitable objectives from time to time as appropriate.

We do what we can to make your support known in a way that benefits you.  Each level of support entitles to the donor to recognition in Strummerfest publicity materials wherever sponsors/supporters are named.  The greater the donation, the more prominent the recognition.  Sponsors will also be entitled to tickets to our shows, invitations to other events and free swag and/or posters.

When this site was first set up, PayPal was the easiest way to support Strummerfest. Not anymore! You can still use the buttons below, but even easier is a quick e-transfer for any sum up to $3000. Send to [email protected].  (It also makes a difference to us, because PayPal costs -- we always lose a little of the sponsorship funding to cover their fees.)  Make sure you send us a separate email to know the password (if any) and so we know who you are and can give you the credit you deserve!
